S. Yen Ho, Professor Emeritus, Imperial College London and Consultant, Cardiac Morphology, Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals, London, UK
Research into the structure of the heart with special interest in congenitally malformed hearts and structurally normal hearts with heart disease
Education /training of doctors and allied healthcare professionals caring for patients with heart disease. Knowledge of heart structure is fundamental to diagnosis and interventions or repairs of structural heart disease.
Campi di interesse
Correlations of the sructure of the heart as viewed using different clinical imaging modalities in medicine. Use of 3D models to help parents understand their child’s heart defects and aid surgeons in planning repair procedures.
